Your time away

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. 
  • Additional day awarded for each full year of service up to a maximum of 5 extra days.
  • Additional holiday awards at 10, 20, 30 and 40 years service milestones.

Your working week

  • Standard 37 hour working week with flexible working arrangements where possible.
  • Hybrid working for applicable roles where possible (currently three days in the office and two days working at home).

Accessibility

The Yorkshire Cancer Research centre has been designed with accessibility in mind. It is wheelchair accessible and we have accessible gender-neutral toilets and changing rooms, a lift to all floors, a hearing loop on reception and disabled parking outside the front door.

  • Free car parking within close proximity of our Head Office.
  • Quiet/prayer room.
  • Access to quiet working spaces and/or quiet desks.
  • Access to assistive technologies.
  • Choice of desks including sit/stand desks, desks consisting of either one or two monitors, and the specific allocation of a desk if required.
